What is Collaborative Practice?
Collaborative Practice is a method of conflict resolution in which the participants focus their efforts on reaching a mutually acceptable and durable resolution without going to court. Professionals are retained in the collaborative process for the specific purpose of assisting clients in attaining this goal. Issues addressed through the collaborative process include, but by no means are limited to, divorce and other personal relationship disputes, estate disputes, business disputes, contract disputes, employment disputes and even medical error.
